The roomie and I are going to spend Thanksgiving watching the LOTR series, eating cake and popcorn, and possibly getting drinks at TGI Friday's. As is the usual way to spend this glorious holiday. ;)

I truly hope that everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving has a great time on Thursday.

Day Four - A Website

This was kind of difficult to choose, especially since a lot of sites I go to are about fandom-related stuff and that only really interests certain people, so I decided to go with the website I check every day for news, etc.

Salon

I love their articles on politics and news, the different viewpoints that are expressed, plus the other reviews they have of books, TV shows, etc., which are always interesting to me. It's not the only place I go to for news/updates, but it's been one of the main places I've checked since the late 90s/early 00s, and if you've never visited it before, I recommend you check it out.

In my attempt to write more every day, I decided to participate in this 7-day meme that has been around for months and months. Enjoy the ensuing randomness!!

Day One: A Song

I love all of Night Work, by the Scissor Sisters, and so it's hard to just pick one song, but I decided to go with "Skin Tight". I got to see Jake Shears sing this song live in concert and it was even more amazing and sexy than I expected from listening to it so many times on my iPod. The song was written for/inspired by Jake's boyfriend, (and he dedicated it to him during the concert as well), and I just love the sentiment behind it.
